Does my Licensing Board accept your courses?
Our courses are accepted/approved by Alberta, Canada and by all US Respiratory Care Boards (AARC Provider # 9346916) and 19
Nursing Boards that currently have CE requirements. You should always check with your
Licensing Board to make sure before ordering courses from any source - there
are companies that will tell you that their material is accepted, and they
are not! Since all of our courses are AARC approved, there has
never been a problem with any Respiratory or Nursing Boards.

The certificate will have your name, state license number or Canada Registration number, AARC member number

any questions, we give you the correct answers on our CE Test Score sheet
that will accompany the certificate. (For online courses you will immediately
receive the correct answer for any questions missed and will be able to print the
certificate directly from your computer.)

Do I have to be an AARC member in order to take your courses?
No. If you are a AARC member, we prepare a log that is submitted
back to the AARC so that they can track the amount of CE received for their
members.
Some Regulatory Boards have restrictions regarding receiving CE credit from home study. How do I know if my
board is one of them?
You can call your Licensing Board directly, call us at (800) 441-LUNG,
or view our CE Requirements Page.
CE Requirements.
Is Contact Hour (CH) the same as Continuing Education Unit (CEU)?
For the purposes of meeting CE requirements, yes. The definition of 1
CEU is 10 hours of instruction compared to the definition of 1 CH is 1 hour
of instruction. Many Licensing Boards are getting away from the
term CEU and using CH as a result. An example would be: a Board
that requires 15 CEU's every 2 years is not saying that you need 150
hours of instruction - they are requiring you to have 15 hours only.
Can I take the same course that I took last time I ordered from you?
We recommend that you do not take the same courses in two consecutive
licensing cycles. We revise our courses every two - three years and therefore
consider it a new course at that time. We suggest that you do not take the
same courses with the same revision date as your last order. We continue to
strive to add new courses yearly so that you have a large variety of courses
to chose from which eliminates this concern.
What happens if I fail a test?
We have different test versions for each course. Failure to achieve a 70% passing score requires an additional fee to retake the test.
How long has your company been providing CE courses?
We are proud to say that we are celebrating our 27th year
of providing high quality continuing education courses. Our company was
founded in 1982.
